Who is move-in cleaning for?
Move-in cleaning is for anyone getting the keys to a home that is still empty: new owners, new tenants, and realtors or stagers preparing a property. The goal is every cabinet, appliance and corner clean before a single box or piece of furniture comes in.

How does move-in cleaning with Extol work?
You call, text or WhatsApp us, we quote, and we clean the empty home on a weekday before your move. The best moment is between getting the keys and the moving truck. You do not need to be there: a key or door code works, and we bring every supply.
- Call, text or WhatsApp. Tell us the town, the home size and the service. We answer the same day when possible, within 24 hours.
- Visit or quote. We prefer to see the home before quoting; we quote without a visit when needed.
- Cleaning day. Book at least 24 hours ahead. A key or code is fine, and we bring all supplies. We work Monday to Friday, 7 am to 10 pm.
- 24-hour check. Tell us within 24 hours if something was missed and we return and redo it at no cost.
Plan around moving dates. Many Boston-area leases start September 1. If your keys arrive near that date, call early.
What is included in move-in cleaning?
Move-in cleaning includes everything in a deep cleaning plus the inside of cabinets, the washer and dryer, and the inside of the dishwasher with its filter. We clean inside cabinets only in empty homes, which is why this service happens before you unpack.

Move-in cleaning is priced by home size, in bedrooms and bathrooms, and by condition. We give you a fixed quote after seeing the home, or without a visit when needed. The price does not change on cleaning day unless you add something.

How can I pay?
You can pay by Zelle, Venmo, card, check or cash. If you are not at the home during the cleaning, card, Zelle or Venmo let you pay from wherever the move has you that day.
What if I'm not happy with something?
Tell us within 24 hours of the cleaning and we come back and redo it at no cost. Walk through the kitchen and bathrooms, open a few cabinets, and text us a photo of anything that needs another pass.

How often should I book after the first visit?
Once you are settled, a recurring cleaning every week, every two weeks or once a month keeps build-up from coming back. One client who booked a move-in cleaning wrote that they would hire Extol as their regular cleaners.
Do I need to be there for move-in cleaning?
No. A key or door code is fine. Extol Cleaning brings all supplies and equipment, and an eco-friendly option is available.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancelling between 48 and 24 hours before the visit costs 50% of the visit. Cancelling less than 24 hours before costs the full price.
